Gina
For nearly 30 years, Gina has been making Portlanders look and feel incredible behind the chair at Salon Nyla. She treats her chair like a safe, inclusive, and welcoming retreat where you can truly let your hair down.
A master of her craft, Gina combines advanced technical expertise with a creative approach. She specializes in precision cuts, curly hair tailoring, and custom gray coverage. Outside the salon, her passion for design shines through jewelry crafting, gardening, and camping with her family.

Nyla
Nyla opened her first salon in 1984, years later and multiple successful salons later, Nyla has stepped away from ownership to focus on the art of hair and her clients. She has been an active member of the Soroptimists International of the Americas for the last 40 years. An organization that encourages women's empowerment through education.
Nyla is not accepting new clients.
Zen
Meet Zen, a seasoned hairstylist with over 20 years of experience turning hair goals into reality. She considers it a true privilege to help people look and feel their absolute best by prioritizing beautiful, healthy hair. Zen specializes in precision cuts, custom hair color, silk presses, and flawless blowouts. Beyond her mastery behind the chair, she is deeply passionate about building genuine relationships with her clients, ensuring every visit feels like catching up with a friend.
Naia
Naia joins our salon team bringing exceptional detail and creative flair to every client experience. She specializes in advanced nail services, including Builder Gel overlays and Gel-X Extensions. Naia is equally passionate about natural nail care, delivering effortlessly elegant and beautifully polished results.

While our founder, Nyla, has moved into semi-retirement, the shears are in the expert hands of long-time stylist and new owner, Gina Jones.
